Vasily Yuryevich Shimсo, Founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SHIMCO GROUP, took part in the “Technopolis Moscow” Special Economic Zone Chess Cup, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Special Economic Zone. The event was held at the M.M. Botvinnik Central Chess House.
The tournament brought together representatives from nearly 40 resident companies. Honored guests included Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government; Gennady Degtev, General Director of the “Technopolis Moscow” Special Economic Zone; Sabina Tsvetkova, Advisor to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow; and Grandmaster Sergey Karjakin. Vasily Shimсo competed among the top players from “Technopolis Moscow” residents, having received a special invitation from the organizers.
