Chirana+ Strengthens Dialogue with Physicians: Recap of the Respiratory Therapy School (June 23) and Announcement of a New Course

For Chirana+, feedback from practicing physicians is the foundation of our development. It is the clinical experience of specialists that helps us create relevant educational programs and refine our equipment to best meet the real-world needs of intensive care and anesthesiology.

A prime example of this collaboration was the Respiratory Therapy School, held on June 23, 2026, at the training center of the Chirana+ factory in Moscow. An intensive hands-on workshop on operating the expert-class ventilator "Khirolog SV AURA Profi" brought together physicians from leading clinics in Moscow, the Moscow Region, and Tyumen.

Who Attended and Who Taught

The audience was highly competent: participants included heads of intensive care units and experienced anesthesiologists-intensivists from Lyubertsy Regional Hospital, the Moscow Regional Oncology Clinical Center (MOOKC), Dmitrov and Khimki Hospitals, as well as the Tyumen Perinatal Center. This ensured a deep professional dialogue.

The speakers were recognized practicing experts:

• Denis Viktorovich Nikiforov, Head of Clinical Work at the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, and Intensive Care for Newborns and Premature Infants, National Medical Research Center named after V.I. Kulakov, Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation;
• Sergey Grigoryevich Berezhnoy, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Anesthesiologist-Intensivist at I.V. Davydovsky City Clinical Hospital.

What Was Covered: The Intensive Program

Over six hours of small-group work (groups of up to 15 people), participants covered critical topics:

• Specifics of invasive and non-invasive ventilation in adults and children;
• Intelligent lung recruitment algorithms for severe ARDS;
• Lung-protective ventilation strategies and organ protection;
• Interpretation of waveforms and loops, diagnosis of asynchronies;
• Extubation protocols and emergency response algorithms.

This format allowed each physician to personally practice settings on real equipment and receive individual recommendations from the speakers.
